Prior to becoming the Pastor of The Faith Place Church in the Madison, Wisconin area, Bishop Harold Rayford served as the Lead Associate Pastor of The Chosen Vessel Cathedral in Fort Worth, Texas. He had been a member of this assembly his entire life. His Father in the Gospel and role model in ministry is the Honorable Bishop Richard E. Young, Sr.
Pastor Rayford served as Youth Pastor, Property Manager and Children’s Ministry Pastor. As Youth Pastor he worked closely with both parents and young people to create stronger families and Christ-centered youth.
Pastor Rayford is passionately committed to a mandate to empower individuals and communities toward their God-given potential. He is an anointed and gifted teacher, preacher and administrator. He is known for his down-to-earth, life-applicable, realistic approach to preaching and teaching God's Holy Word. With a passion to see people enjoy the fullness of God's best, he equips believers through his practical and systematic style of teaching while carrying a rich anointing to impart the gift of faith.
He has been married for over 29 years to Jacquie Rayford. They are the parents of two children, Jeff and Brooke. Jeff (and his wife Sheree) have 3 children. Brooke currently resides in Chicago, Illinois.
Pastor
Rayford is also an accomplished musician and songwriter. He is known
nationally and internationally for his unique sound as a Gospel Jazz
Saxophonist. Pastor Rayford holds a B.A. Degree in Business
Administration from Dallas Baptist University, Dallas, Texas and an
Associate Degree in Applied Science in Business from Tarrant County
College in Fort Worth, Texas.
